IHOP full stack of buttermilk pancakes with butter

On some weekends, after my kids’ soccer practice and swim classes, I take them to IHOP as a reward for their hard work. My eldest child often orders the towering pancake stack, while my youngest prefers the short stack.

The Price of a Stack of Pancakes at IHOP

IHOP has two pancake stack options available – the pancake full stack which has five of their world-famous buttermilk pancakes and the short pancake stack which has 3-stack of their world-famous buttermilk pancakes topped with whipped butter.

The full stack of World-Famous Original Buttermilk Pancakes is priced at $7.90 while a short stack of World-Famous Original Buttermilk Pancakes is priced at $6.37. IHOP’s gluten-free pancake stacks are priced at $8.58 (full stack) and $5.50 (half stack).

The Different Pancake Options Available at IHOP

IHOP’s famous Buttermilk Pancakes are as fluffy as clouds, with just the right hint of sweetness that makes them impossible to resist. To me, they’re more than just pancakes; they’re like a warm embrace from home and brings me back to my childhood.

I remember my parents treating us to a full stack of pancakes if we did well in an exam, or if did our chores for the week. And now, I’m doing the same thing for my kids.

its a tradition for my brothers and i to eat at iHOP after midnight at least once a month where we have our breakfast for dinner price and i decided to make this a tradition in my family too so i took my husband here for the first time. We had our special breakfast plates with eggs, hash and the works and for desert… TIRAMISU PANCAKES which were DELICIOUS. i couldn’t eat it all of course so i took it home and ate it for breakfast the next day 🙂 the service was awesome, our waitress really took care of us and we also took care of her too 😉 (ahem, with a nice tip) Only spent $30 on an appetizer, 2 breakfast plates, and 2 desert pancake plates because 1 of the plates was free! they have different specials depending what day you’re there i think we were there on a Friday so it was buy one entree get the second free. absolutely love it. will be back for more..

I loveeeee IHOP. I have never not liked my meal there. Their pancake breakfasts are always so good and my brothers love their kids menu. I’ve loved IHOP since I was a kid. The service is always very well even though they are mostly understaffed. Just walking into IHOP and smelling the food is such a good feeling. It’s one of the only places that my family and I can enjoy our meal without fighting.

My husband and I wanted to have a quick pancake fix last minute before picking up the kids and we didn’t want to go to this location at first because as SF Natives we didn’t want to deal with a tourist crowd just to eat at our neighborhood ihop but instead we got this:

– Friendly customer service

– Quiet relaxing atmosphere

– Extremely clean even the bathrooms

– Nice amount of people not too crowded

– Food made to order and came out nice and hot!!

Side note- I got the mushroom & spinach omelette but asked for it to be in a scrambled egg instead of omelette and it came out so good !!

Whenever hubby and I want our pancake fix we will just come here instead of getting on the freeway to Daly City which is what we had been doing before to avoid tourist crowds lol!
