Today, I decided to switch things up a bit and order from IHOP’s salad menu instead of their famous pancakes. Tried the Chicken and Veggie Salad, and pleased to see it contains fresh ingredients and tastes really good too. Chopped Chicken Salad
The Chopped Chicken Salad, priced at $15.92, includes grilled or crispy chicken, bacon, creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes, 4-cheese blend, onions and lettuce.
Fresh Berry Salad
Priced at $15.92, this salad features grilled or crispy chicken, strawberries, onions, avocado and lettuce.
55+ Fresh Berry Salad
This salad option, priced at $13.44, lets you pick from grilled or crispy chicken, strawberries, blueberries, red onions, avocado, and lettuce.
Chicken and Veggie Salad
For $13.48, you can order IHOP’s Chicken and Veggie Salad which has grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, onions, avocado, mushrooms, and lettuce tossed in balsamic vinaigrette.
Chicken Cobb Salad
The Chicken Cobb Salad costs $10.46, and comes with either grilled or crispy chicken, bacon, Jack and Cheddar cheeses, hard-boiled egg, and fresh tomatoes on a bed of mixed greens and romaine, tossed in buttermilk ranch dressing.
House Salad
For only $4.15, the House Salad has sliced tomatoes and red onions along with greens and romaine plus dressing.
Chicken Caesar Salad
Chicken Caesar Salad for $13.28, you’ll get chicken breast, lettuce, Parmesan cheese and croutons with Caesar dressing and garlic bread.
Chicken and Spinach Salad
This salad is priced at $10.83, and lets you choose either grilled or buttermilk crispy chicken, bacon, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese.
Grilled Chicken & Veggie Salad
The Grilled Chicken & Veggie Salad ($10.96) has grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, red onions, avocado, and mushrooms plus mixed greens and honey balsamic vinaigrette.

WHEN DOES IHOP STOP SERVING SALADS?
IHOP serves salads from opening until closing time. But check with your local IHOP as they may have different guidelines for their menu offerings.

We went late around 10:30 and got seated immediately. Food came out quickly and our food came out fresh and hot. Our waitress wasn’t too attentive after that, but she was alone and three large groups came in shortly after we did. Overall, it was a great meal. Try the new chicken sandwiches prices. I got one (see pic) with a side salad. Very satisfying.

I’m gonna butcher the spelling but our server Zykeah was the best we’ve had this trip!! She was quick with taking care of us, efficient & when our bacon didn’t come out crispy she immediately took it back. She had tons of insight & knowledge & was so sweet & genuine.
We are coming off a big football win in which we traveled here for. A server not even ours congratulated us on our win as she joyfully passed by (we were wearing team gear).
Another server, who brought one of our side dishes over, gave us some awesome recommendations.
Great experience. Food as expected from ihop which was above average here in Nola it seems.

Server Latosha was amazing. Food was really good we shared pancake tacos – three pancakes stuffed with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and cheese. Sooo good and a bowl of grits with cheese and bacon. Perfect breakfast to mop up all the cocktails from night before. From the outside the bldg look closed, inside decorated cute and very clean while in canal street.
